COOKING COURSE AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

“Italia Gustosa” stems from the need to enable more and more people to learn not only about Italian art, fashion and culture, but also food. It aims to promote the foods that only Italian producers can work, transform and enhance, thus creating unique products. We have decided to provide these “experiences” because food can be told and shown in a thousand ways, and we want you to discover them all. “Italia Gustosa” is an experience for everyone, great chefs, cooking enthusiasts or simple lovers of good food.

The main feature of Italian cuisine is the simplicity of the many dishes made with a maximum of 4 to 8 ingredients. Italian chefs rely on the quality of these ingredients, rather than on the complexity of preparation. Dishes and recipes have often been created by grandmothers rather than chefs. Each region in Italy has its own recipes, so our “Italia Gustosa” takes shape in different regions.
Some of them have characteristic dishes that have become a point of reference worldwide. Certain products are so special that they have no fear of comparison with the rest of the world. “Italia Gustosa” is linked to the soul of every region and of all those who live this experience.
We will guide you through the history of Italian cuisine. We will let you discover the typical products and their processing. We will walk through the streets of the most beautiful Italian cities and the alleys of the most ancient villages. 
We will develop language, culture and cooking courses throughout the program period. We will take you to vineyards, pistachio groves, dairies and many other places. The lessons will be given by professional chefs, and you will stay in high-level 4-star locations. You will discover the typical products and the traditions of the territory.

Cooking Masterclass

The Cooking Master Class is our new Idea of “The perfect mix of learning” Students will attend a language course and at the same we’ll introduce you into the world of our fantastic Cuisine. Students will discover the principals ingredients of the MADE IN ITALY and their processing techniques. You will be the artist and the chef; cooking and tasting our typical dishes.

marche region

Le Marche, an eastern Italian region, sits between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. A Region with sandy coves, limestone cliffs and medieval villages.The interior has countryside dotted with fortified hilltop settlements and the glaciated valleys of the Monti Sibillini National Park.

Typical food

The influence of the neighboring regions, particularly Romagna, can be detected in the popularity of fresh egg pasta and the oven-baked pasta dishes in the Marche. Vincisgrassi is a regional favorite and is a type of baked-lasagna stuffed with chicken livers. Among the regional salumi, Prosciutto di Carpegna DOP seasoned with juniper, is a real stand out. Then, there are soppresse, salsicce, or sausages, and a particular salume called Ciauscolo, which has the consistency of a pate and is seasoned with garlic, thyme and fennel.

We will take you to visit farms and factories whitch produce home-made products (like cheese, wine, olive oil, honey , truffle, salami, etc.) You will also discover our beautiful region and all its hidden wonders.

Puglia is known for its whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coastline. Cuisine plays an important role throughout this Region. The most important products of the Region are: olive oil, artichokes, tomatoes, aubergine, asparagus, and mushrooms.

Typical food

One of the most important product in Puglia regione in the Olive Oli. Olive trees have been grown around the Mediterranean since the 8th millennium BC. Orecchiette alla Pugliese is the signature pasta dish of Puglia whose shape is approximately that of small ears, from which comes the name.

Sicily, the largest Mediterranean island. Nature seems to have endowed all its wonders to this land: mountains, hills and above all the sea, with its incredible colors, its crystal-clear water and the beauty of its seabeds, in no way inferior to those of other seas.

In the Sicilian cuisine there are traces of all cultures that have existed on the island of Sicily over the last two millennia. Although its cuisine has a lot in common with Italian cuisine, Sicilian food also has Greek, Spanish, French and Arab influences.It is through the creativity that the Sicilian pastry traditional reveals himself rich and varied, even when using simple ingredients and poor. Every Province of Sicily retains its tradition in sweets, as well as for every popular celebrations, religious and family.

Because you will be supported by professional chefs who will tell you the secrets of their recipes and because the food and wine tours will allow you to discover the flavors of Italy, getting to know the small producers and the main cities of the selected region. At the end of the course, besides a few gadgets, you will receive a booklet containing all the recipes learned and a certificate of attendance.
We offer several regions of Italy, because each of them has its own culture and history. Each program will allow you to discover landscapes, people, food, recipes and handicrafts. From the sea to the mountains, from cannoli to tortellini, come to discover all the wonders of Italy.
